Around Samuel, the hidden town disintegrated, reducing itself to dust. Yet he stood still, enveloped in the protective sheath of the machine's uncanny light.

The mighty explosion opened a rift in the space-time continuum, throwing open portals to different dimensions. The 'Eerie Endings' were indeed echoes, but from alternate realities where the apocalypse had taken even darker turns.
