As the night fell, the echoes of the day's chatter soon faded into a hushed, uneasy silence. Albert, a seasoned psychologist used to the crowded chaos of the city, found himself surrounded by an emptiness he could not fill, even with his numerous academic accolades and wealth of practical knowledge.

Known for his record of 'curing' even the most complex cases, Albert decided to adopt a secluded lifestyle for a self-experimentation project to explore the human mind's deepest fears. With neither human contact nor the comforts of modern technology, he tested his mettle against the unforgiving silence. What he didn't account for was how the silence made room for whispers, not from the outside world, but his own subconscious mind.

Days transitioned into weeks as Albert's mind began playing tricks he could not analyze or define. Shadows cast by the faint moonlight on the dilapidated cottage walls danced eerie patterns, taking on the shape of his most daunting fears.
